I was in desperate need of housing after suddenly moving from CT to PA. Within a 72 hour period from contacting George O’Brien I was moving into my new home, and had no feeling of regret or that I was being taken advantage of given my situation.

George helped find me beautiful and affordable place to call home. Upon moving in the property manager Ben came by a few times to ensure anything I had questions about or that needed fixing was taken care of. I also contacted George a few times with questions related to parking and garbage, he responded within a few hours every time. After the move in, I was talking to my mom on the phone and she asked how I could be sure that I had found a good place owned by good people. I thought for a second and responded, “because good people are hard to come by but it’s easy to recognize when you do come across them.

George has demonstrated nothing but compassion, punctuality and proficiency. Ben is hard working, understanding and reliable. They are great people.

I recently moved to Greensburg from Minnesota.  Although I looked for a home to purchase, Timing was not in my favor.  I didn’t want to live in a motel. Even though they are lovely for two or three nights, for a longer period, it didn’t feel lovely.

Nearly in a last effort to find someplace safe for me and my dogs, I contacted a listing on one of the search sights to explain my situation.  George responded very quickly, letting me know that an apartment that was scheduled for remodeling was vacated prematurely and he would be glad to rent on a month to month lease as while he worked on other apartments in the building.   We spoke, he sent photos, and accommodated applying and signing the lease via electronic means.

I quickly learned that when his add says he is an involved landlord, it means that he is pro-active about the building and making sure things are taken care.  It also means he is easy to contact, and quick to address concerns.

What I learned is that this is a landlord who truly cares about providing a livable, quality space for his tenants and is concerned with more than just collecting the rent check.  I have witnessed him investing in this lovely building.  Though the apartment I am in hasn’t had the “George treatment” yet, it too is a gracious space, and easy to live in.  Once remodeled, this will rival any “big city” luxury apartment.

Without hesitation I can say that this rental experience has been fantastic.  Should I be in need of rental housing in the future, George is the first person I will call.
